Ship Analytics: geoplot - Exercise History: hist_dir: 050CT8901.HST Scale (nm/inch): 2.778
A plot of me helming a 20,000 ton container ship into New York City harbor. The red track is me, the blue tracks are simulated traffic ships. This was plotted on a HP 7475A plotter.

The above plot reminds me of one small task I completed sometime after my first Korean Adventure for Ship Analytics. I rewrote the software that generated the above plot. The major upgrade I implemented was the ship outlines (the red and blue tracks) were to scale and I tweaked how coastlines and navaids were plotted. I also changed the code to interface with other HP plotters (HP 7550A, HP 7585B, etc.). I wrote this software in C on a VAX/VMS computer.
