Another scam gets by the spam filter…

file necessary documents at our high court probate division for the release of this sum
of money to you.

United Kingdom? Then why does this email look like it comes from a Taiwanese government organization and why is the “reply to” email address an AOL address? Funny how an email claiming I’m a winner based on my “identity” makes absolutely no mention of anything which could be considered my identity.

Based on the IP address from which this email originated, it looks like a computer belonging to the Taipei City Fire Department has been compromised.

  1. To whom it may concern; I have fallen for the scam artost again. I received a postcard; it looked life the same ones I had gotten before, It stated that due to the fact that I was not at home I had a limited time to collect it. It was $10 thousand $. When I ran it through my conputer; there was no such place. I pray that our Heavenly Father takes this little scam artist ring, and do whatever the Lord feels they deserves.““““““““““““Georgie Martin
