1. Jack Smith is testifying before the Senate this morning, and a GOP Senator just grilled him about being at an Atlanta Hawks game in ATL, and accused him of perjury bc he denied this was the case.

   Turns out, it was an Iowa HAWKEYES game in Maryland.

   These are the most unserious people ever.

2. Holy sh*t. Sen Schmitt just accused Jack Smith of going to an Atlanta Hawks bball game with the implication that he must of also met with then prosecutor Fani Willis BUT Smith went to an Iowa HAWKEYES game in Maryland instead. This GOP clown show is a disgrace.

The machinations it took to try and get Schmitt some viral clips of him humiliating Jack Smith the same day supporters got Jim VandeHei to print that he's being seen as a possible VP candidate, and then blow it because you got the facts so spectacularly wrong … I can't. I'll be laughing all day.

   1. This is the part that infuriates me. He knows, 100%, that the "Atlanta game" is wrong. But he can go out in the media and shamelessly lie about it and suffer no consequences.
