Who the fcsk is Janice Hopkins?

[self serving crapola deleted — Basically Mr. Johnson thinks money is more important than life.]

Mr. Johnson labors under the delusion that:

  1. I’m Janice Hopkins
  2. I live in Illinois’ 15th District.
  3. I give a flying fuck what Mr. Johnson thinks

Chairman David Cole is Spammer

Yet more Republican spam…

Dear Concerned Conservative,

Bzzzt! WRONG!

Late last week, Jay Nixon’s administration agreed to pay $450,000 in taxpayer money to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now to settle a lawsuit against the state.

Chairman Cole doesn’t want you to know the details of this settlement. You can learn more about it here.

This group, better known as ACORN, is dedicated to electing liberal Democrats and linked to organized voter registration fraud in Missouri and across the nation. For years, they have worked closely with Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.

This group, better known as ACORN, is dedicated to electing liberal Democrats – They’re not doing a very good job, since a lot centrist Democrats have been getting elected…

Make no mistake about it: ACORN will certainty reward Carnahan for this cozy relationship—and they will stop at nothing to make sure she is elected to the United States Senate.

That’s why I am asking you for an online contribution of $35, $50, $100 or $500 to the Missouri Republican Party. Every dollar will help us overcome these cozy arrangements and combat ACORN’s influence.

During the lawsuit, Carnahan stood shoulder-to-shoulder with ACORN. They even admitted that she had been “helpful” prior to the lawsuit. Now, Carnahan refuses to say whether they deserve nearly half a million dollars in Missouri taxpayers’ money.

Unlike ACORN, the Missouri Republican Party will not be receiving nearly half a million dollars of taxpayer money to spread our message.

Your online contribution is vitally important.

We are up against a well-funded organization with a history of questionable behavior. And it will take people like you, all across the state, to provide us with the resources we need to counter their efforts.

We are up against a well-funded organization with a history of questionable behavior. – That’s a pretty good description of the Republican party…

Thank you again for your continued support of the Missouri Republican Party.

Sincerely,

David Cole
Chairman

P.S. We can only stop ACORN and their hand-picked candidate, Robin Carnahan, with your help. Please make an online contribution of $35, $50, $100 or $500 to the Missouri Republican Party, so we can combat their influence and spread our conservative message.

conservative message == “we don’t want poor folks to have a vote”

‘Ark of the Covenant’ about to be unveiled?

The patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia says he will announce to the world Friday the unveiling of the Ark of the Covenant, perhaps the world’s most prized archaeological and spiritual artifact, which he says has been hidden away in a church in his country for millennia, according to the Italian news agency Adnkronos.

Abuna Pauolos, in Italy for a meeting with Pope Benedict XVI this week, told the news agency, “Soon the world will be able to admire the Ark of the Covenant described in the Bible as the container of the tablets of the law that God delivered to Moses and the center of searches and studies for centuries.”

I still think the real Ark is just as likely hidden in some U.S. government warehouse…
